Civil society actors are increasingly broadening their knowledge spheres through utilizing traditional and alternative intelligence collections methods. Open source intelligence is an especially useful tool within and outside intelligence communities, as it provides accessible, detailed information and reporting to those who normally might not have the resources to obtain and collect important data.
