US Foreign Policy in Latin America

Latin American countries are undergoing political and economic transformations apart from what we are seeing in the US. While Latin American governments are hoping to strengthen trade relations with the US, it is also understood that Trump may be disinterested. And if that is the case, there could be a shift in priorities for the region where Latin America may open up to China and other economies, as discussed here.
